Ipswich town manager Kieran McKenna has said that he has no interest in the managerial jobs at Chelsea and Manchester United after extending his contract with the club.
According to Metro Sport, the 38-year-old has presided over a stunning transformation of fortunes at Portman Road. He took over a side that was struggling to avoid relegation and turned them into an exciting proactive team which gained promotion to English Premier League after 22 years.
McKenna’s success saw him gain attention from several premier league clubs. Chelsea was said to have eyed him as a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino, while Manchester United, the club where he started coaching, also spoke to him. Queens Park Rangers were also said to be keen on the player after their manager left the club.
